About

God is the potter and I am the blessed clay. He’s never left me and never will. His hands are constantly working on me and in me to mold me into the beautiful creation that He’s created me to be. The work never ends.

When I married my high school sweetheart , Anthony in 2006 after nearly ten years together, we were eager to become parents. I had always known I wanted to be a mother. Our first miracle was born the next September, and we have adored her ever since. The second miracle arrived in May 2009, and while her big sister wasn’t too keen on the arrival at the time, my husbad and I couldn’t have been more excited. We have a beautiful, blessed family.

2 I long, yes, I faint with longing
to enter the courts of the Lord.
With my whole being, body and soul,
I will shout joyfully to the living God.
3 Even the sparrow finds a home,
and the swallow builds her nest and raises her young
at a place near your altar,
O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, my King and my God!
4 What joy for those who can live in your house,
    always singing your praises.

Psalm 84:2-4 (NLT)

Jesus has always been a close companion to me. When I was a child, I was severely abused. Sometimes I would cry myself to sleep and I’d feel this calming presence around me. It was Jesus. I know because He told me. He showed me it was Him, and He carried me through the darkest of nights. He saved me in every way, and kept me for Himself. When I say I am blessed, I can’t express it enough just how much so. These two amazing little baby birds that I’m teaching to fly are learning to love and revere Jesus as much as I do. It is absolutely true that one teaches by example and I’ve found that the more I pray and follow Him, the more they want to embrace and engage Him.

One of my favorite verses in the Holy Bible is Matthew 6:26“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” This verse just encourages my love of birds and reminds me that yes, Jesus is all I need. He is my Jehovah Jireh.
