Operation: Stretch Grocery Budget – Pizza and Movie Night

We borrowed a movie from our library for free. The following ingredients I had on hand at home. For 16 mini pizzas, I spent roughly $5.

Bagel Hill “Everything” bagel thins, fresh tomato slices, mozzarella cheese chunks, diced turkey bacon and pineapple chunks. (not pictured: pizza sauce – I was trying to leave it out but my 3 year old got squeamish. No tomatos!) And she thinks pizza sauce is….?

Squirt some pizza sauce on the bagel for your little ones. Give them a spoon and let them “frost” the “beautiful” pizza.

Let the kids choose the toppings they want. (I placed the turkey bacon on for them) The extra ingredients become the appetizer as their “big girl personal beautiful pizza” bakes in the oven at 400° F for 10 – 15 minutes.

And voila! A personal pizza for your prince or princess! Happy homemaking, friends!
